Quick and Short Recap of the past week

I cant believe how fast time and I haven’t had a chance to update this blog.

Its been two and half weeks since I last blogged, ever since my parents and the boys have left for Singapore. I’ve been busy tryin to run the household without my mummy, which means I’ve been trying to do all the cooking, cleaning and gardening for the 5 of us who are still remaining.

Anyway, I’ll just blog about the exciting stuff and it all starts on the 15th December

16th December 2008 (Tuesday)

When I arrived at the office that morning, I found an early xmas pressie from one of my co-worker, Tracey

How cute is it? She hand made it herself (it was made with love)

=D

then I got another sweet treat from Linda who brought some figs from home which she grew herself. I’ve never eating a fig before even though it looks a little bit weird and feels funny, it was actually quite sweet and filling. That was my breakfast for the day.

then at 12:30, headed down to West Perth to have a office xmas lunch at Zil and to exchange our Secret Santa Gifts.

Damn Shop Lifters

OMG!!!

whats wrong with these ppl - i had these two fat mommy bitches coming into VG last nite, while i was working. They were nice, polite and well-mannered (even though they look dodgy), you wouldnt expecting them to be stealing stuff, especially when they have 2 cute little boys with them.

but WTF, they were walking around the store literally stocking their pram with clothes, they were taking the clothes off their hanger and then sticking it on top of the pram and after i got one of the girls to stay at the door and to check bags, they moved to the back of the store so they can hide their stolen stash.

They went to the back corner of the store, took the kid out of the pram, put all the stuff that they wanted into the seat and try to hide it with their jacket (WTF!!! how retarded do you think i am). Anyway bcoz it was so packed last nite i had to call in security to give me a hand, when he arrived i got him to do a walk thru the store especially around the corner and the next thing you know it their dumping the crap out of the pram and on to the floor.

They headed towards the exit (and me being in the 'dont F#$k with me' mood) stopped them at the exit and went thru every nook and cranny of the pram and all their shoppin bags. I even gave them the warning, that if they come bak into the store again, that we would be keepin an eye on them and if they want to try that shit again - expect to be charged and banned and what did they say 'ok'

I am so F%$kin annoyed with the stoopid bitches, because
  1. the store was so busy and packed, that i am sure that ppl could see them try to steal shit (but they still did it anyway)
  2. they were whispering to each other '...she's still here...they keepin walkin around us....' (what the hell - we can hear you - stoopid idiots)
  3. This annoys me the most - the stoopid bitches brought their 2 kids (they must hav been 2 to 4 years old) to go shop lifting - WTF!!! what type of f@#kin role model are u too your kids. (i bet you in 10 years when these kids are caught shop liftin these stoopid hoes are goin to be thinkin to themselves 'WTF did i do wrong, to make u do this' - DUH!!!)
and if your wondering why didnt i just ban them from the store and be more harsher in punishment, its bcoz ppl deserve a second chance plus they have 2 young boys. But dont worry the next time i catch them tryin to steal, hell is goin to break loose and i'm goin to be the bitch from hell.

BTW, just in case you wondering - they were goin to flog off with at least $150 worth of clothes.

Cake-tastic weekend

i have to admit, i'm a glutton for cakes

i absolutely love the stuff

if i could, i would eat it every day

during my weekend (while still trying to recover from my hangover)

I got to try out these 2 new cakes

Cake 1 - i dont the know of it but its so cute - its a little teapot, short and stout.... it's from Utopia

this is just ok, i found it to be very bland and really not as sweet as it looks, i think the presentation compensates for the taste.
Cake 2 - Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Torta (from Miss Mauds)

it is a Chocolate sponge layered with raspberry mousse, decorated with dark chocolate shavings, a pink chocolate rose, topped with raspberry pulp and sprinkled with icing sugar.
verdict: but i have to say that Cake 2 was my favourite cake for the weekend, it was just right in sweetness despite having a dry cake base, i ilke the taste of the raspberry mousse.

=D
you have to try it - if you can find it bcoz this is the first time i've ever seen this cake

Yummi Mummi

Look what I found at Central Park food court in the city

Yummi Cupcakes

Aren’t they pretty (and pricey – 6 cupcakes for $18)

I bought 3x cookies and cream and 3 x Vanilla cupcakes

I cant believe that I ate the whole thing

=P

Only joking, I’m a nice person so I shared with some of the co-workers at the office and my boss

Verdict: absolutely delicious but the topping is so rich that you get sick of it before you even finish eating

Recommendation: eat in moderation and don’t try to eat 2 cupcakes, one after another.
(i dont neeed to give you a reason why- it just doesnt work)

Friday night - drink fest (28th Nov 2008)

I swear the older you get, the longer it takes to recover from a hangover (never again will I drink……for awhile)

Drink fest synopsis

Last Friday, I finished up at the office at 5pm, walked down Hay St to go and met up with Jason at ‘Freaks and Geeks’ (I’ll do a review on them later).

Then me and Jase walked to Tiger Lils to meet up with Jillian and Sally, we all had a pint of beer waiting for Louisa to get there before we headed off to ‘The Big Office’ Party being held at QV1.
jase, me and jillian

When she arrives their fren Amir (Mr God’s Gift to women =P) arrives too and off we go to the Big office party, when we arrive at QV1 there is a huge line waiting for us.

But lucky for us, one of us know someone in the line to lets us in and we only have to wait less than 10 mins to get in

Inside the ‘Big Office Party’

Then at around 8:30, me and Jase had to leave and walk all the way to Northbridge to go and meet up with the bf and his mates (andy and eric) @ the Indian restaurant Mela, and OMG my feet were absolutely killing, it felt like I was rubbing my sore feet on rough sand paper, every time I took a step (I should keep a pair of emergency flats in my bag)

Anyway, this is what we had for dinner

The food tasted ok but the only problem is that the portions were extremely small and too pricey for my liking and the service was horrible it took more than 20 mins to get more rice (how hard is it to scoop rice and put it into a bowl)

After dinner, we headed to ‘The Brisbane’ to meet up with Sandy and her girlfrens for more drinking of beer and a Yager bomb.

Here are some pics

Here is the mess i made on the floor....

and NOOO- its not my dinner

Its my beer, it slipped out of my hands (i was really tired)

>=-(
I cant believe that I wasted alcohol

(sorry babe for dropping the beer you brought me)

=(

Then we finally went home and woke up with a hangover
(which is taking ages to recover from)
