Arrgghhh!!!
I’m so annoyed right now, I had all blog posts for the past 2 weeks all typed up and ready to be uploaded. But I just can’t seem to find it on my computer at the office, it has gone MIA
=(
If your wondering why I don’t just blog directly into blogspot, well due to the economic downturn, the office has decided “to monitor all staff internet usage, to ensure that productivity is being carried out fully’. This means no more personal web surfing, hence no time to type up for my blog but I do have the plan to make sure that my blog is updated and that is too to pre-type all my blogs before hand and then upload during my lunch break. (Hope this works)
Anyhoo, back to retyping all my past 2 weeks stuff, here we go:
19th January 2009HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Catherine
After work we (me, the bf, my bro, the bday girl, Jill, alfie and jase) headed down to the Nicoholson bar and grill for dinner to celebrate Catherine’s special day. I don’t have that many pics to show off because I was in such a rush to get ready that I forgot to grab my battery for my camera. But lucky for me, Jill was nice to share her camera battery (btw we both have the same camera) for me to take some quick shots of us (girls) at the dinner.
20th January 2009
When I finished work, I headed straight to the gym for a 1 hour workout while the bf went out to play basketball with the boys. After the gym, went home and spent the rest of the night fixing computers and printers. Nothing exciting, it just kept busy for the whole night
21st January 2009
Tonight is the Nuffnang Blogger’s meet up at the Brass Monkey in Northbridge, I had been waiting all week for this event and I had it all planned to meet Jill and Lou there. However at lunch time Jill sms to say that she couldn’t make it, as she was sick with the flu. So for the rest of the afternoon, I tried to find someone to drag with me but everyone had plans already. I know I sound desperate here but I’m kinda rusty in the meeting new ppl skills. I’ve always find it hard to come up with the small talk, so I get nervous and end up sayin stoopid or silly things this is why I wanted to drag someone with me, so if no one wants to talk to me at least I have my backup fren with me to tok. So I decided that I wasn’t goin to attend the event by myself and would wait for the next event. But by 5:30 I thought hell with it I’ll just go by myself (life is too short), I’ll go for 30mins and if I don’t like it, I can always just leave and disappear.
But to my surprise, everyone that was there was friendly and very welcoming, I was able to meet other fellow bloggers. I guess this is what Nuffnang does, it provides you with the opportunity to network with new ppl from all walks of life. I highly recommend all other bloggers to join Nuffnang, its free to join.
I’ll blog more abt nuffnang

22nd January 2009Rushed from work to work today, just like every Thursday nite and bcoz I’ve had to cash up that night and with one girl short I didn’t get home until 10pm. Got home had a quick dinner and went to bed. Feeling so sleep deprived atm
23rd January 2009
I had to rush home from the office today, to get change and to get ready to have dinner with Miss E, Eric, Nick and Mei at the Blitz Café in Mount Lawley. The menu was a fusion of east meets west, a concoction that you can mix and match. So firstly you pick the meat of your choice and then decide which type of noodles (eg. Teriyaki hokkien noodles / black pepper Udon noodles/ etc) or rices (plain/ fried/ etc) that you want it with. This is what we ended up having:
After dinner the headed done to the street to ExoMod cafe for coffee and cakes. I ordered a chocolate frappe, which actually tasted like a really, really watered down chocolate milk slushy (eeewwwwww!)
>=0
Is that what a frappe meant to taste like or did they make it wrong?
Lucky we ordered a Baileys cheesecake and a mascarpone cheesecake to share and to drown the taste of watered down choc-slushy.
By 10:30pm we headed home bcoz I was tired, I think I would have enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, if I wasn’t so tired. The place reminded me of the old days at the Oriels’ Café in Subiaco. (Only the old school ppl, will know what i’m toking abt =P) . Oh well, I will have to make sure to came back to really appreciate the place and not to order anymore frappes
24th January 2009
With Chinese New Year just a day away, I spent the whole of Saturday cleaning the house and making chinese new cookies like pineapple tarts and dahlia cookies. This is something that the family has been doin ever since I was a kid – its our family tradition and I like keep the old traditions alive, it keeps the family close. =D
Here is my mom making the Dahlia cookies.
And here are the pineapples tarts that we made (everyone loves these) the secret to the pineapple tarts is to not skimp on the pineapple jam.
25th January 2009
Today is Chinese New Year eve, so for dinner tonight we are goin to have our traditional family dinner with my family, my sister-in-law’s family and my bf’s parents
Home-cooked
27th January 2009
After work me and the bf headed down to Golden BBQ to have CNY dinner with Eric, Ah Siang, Steven, Audrey, Joanne and Paul.
28th January 2009Spent the night fixing more computers and printers for the bf, I so cant wait to be in Singapore soon. Then I can take a break from all this stuff
29th January 2009
Once again I went from one work place to the other, this night I had drama with a group of 6 girls trying to shoplift from the store. Being short staffed I had to make sure that the security alarms were switched on, serve customers at the till and make sure that there was one girl at the front checking bags and one girl at the change rooms handing out numbers. I had to call the centre security to give me hand. Lets just say the girls ended up dumping the stuff that they wanted to steal all over the store.
=D
Victory for me!!!

January 2009 – IIIIII
YEAH!!! I didn’t have to cash up which means I get to go home earlier than I usually do, plus I got to work with my new manager too. She seems really nice and sweet but I am still pondering as to why she moved from working at Hugh Boss to VG, its totally a big difference between the two. I hope she lasts longer than the other girls.
30th January 2009
What to do I have a CNY dinner to go tonite and a 21st B’day too?
Being a person who loves to eat and party, I decided to do both – have dinner first skip the dessert and head straight to the party.
So at 7:30 had CNY dinner with Eric, Ah Siang, Audrey, Joanne, Steve, the bf and the Lo Family at Regal on Roe Seafood
Damn it!!! The dinner took longer than expected, so I had to rush down to Jo’s Bday @ Willetton. But just as I got there the rest of the girls were already starting to leave. So I was only there for short while, at least I got to say happy birthday to the lucky girl and made the effort to appear.
Happy Birthday Jo Jo
31st January 2009I was goin to head down to the convention centre in the city to check out the WAI-CON the Perth Anime Convention 2009, especially to check out the ppl dressed-up as their favourite anime character. I still haven’t seen a cos-player yet, =(
Unfortunately, I had to spend the day helping the bf running some errands and make him some sushi. Why do that? You ask, well technically my working schedule was meant to be like Monday to Friday at the office Thursday nites @ VG and on the weekends working for the bf at his store (I know this means that I will be working 7 days a week but u get use to it).
Anyhoo, he has been giving me Saturdays off to do as I please for the past few months and I have been feelin really bad abt it. So I asked him if he wanted me to cook him something special, so he put his request in for sushi. Which I was happy to do for him, I know this sounds really mushy but its my life anyway =P
I so totally forgot that I had dinner with the office girls tonight but for some strange reason it just popped into my head last minute. So I had to rush and get ready for dinner at the Northbridge Chinese Restaurant.
1st February 2009I had it planned that I was goin to update my blog while I was working at the bf’s shop but I got distracted by the customers.
Hmph….. a very unproductive day
I just realised that this blog post is getting pretty big so I will quickly sum up the high lights of this period.
5th February 2009
Just before I began my shift on Thursday nite I had these two 14 to 16 year old girls trying to shoplift from the store, bloody hell. When you see these girls u wouldn’t expect them to be the type of girls that shop lift – stoopid idiots!!!. I cant be bothered getting into the details, it’s the same old story as usual

February - II
With all the experience I’ve head with shop lifters, I should just start a business that teaches shops abt loss and prevention. As all shop lifters do the same things as always.
